The notch is an ambient entry point, not another button.

SmartIsland sits at the edge of attention. It reveals itself through proximity and task changes instead of asking users to open another dashboard.

Status first. Diagnostics second.

Running state, workspace and recent output form the first reading layer. Context and usage indicators stay available without competing for attention.

Automatic, but always dismissible.

Background agent changes can present Work mode automatically. Pin, release and auto-present controls keep the interface under user control.

Permissions need product language.

Screen Recording, Automation and Notifications are explained through the user benefit they unlock, with just-in-time requests and recoverable states.
